Connected Campus · Smart Campus IoT

Connected devices. Accountable campus operations.

A missed punch can become a register dispute. A late bus can become a queue of worried calls. A new smart board can become another disconnected tool. Connect the signal to the person who can resolve it—not just another dashboard.

Connected Campus is a separately ordered integration service, not part of the base ERP subscription. Your approved order specifies the devices and services to connect, staff responsibilities, delivery dates and checks that must be passed and accepted before your agreed launch.

The problem → the response → the value

More devices will not fix a broken handoff.

Connect attendance, transport and classroom technology to the decisions your people make every day. Your separately ordered rollout turns the selected uses below into an agreed, tested way of working.

01

The problem

No one knows whether the learner is absent—or the reader is offline.

Devices spread across vendors and campus zones leave staff chasing the wrong person when a signal disappears.

Your commissioned BCO response

Connect the list of devices, their locations, current status and support contacts to the agreed process for handling unexpected or missing events.

The value: a clear place to start, with responsibility attached.Explore attendance & access
02

The problem

A duplicate punch becomes a disputed attendance record.

Uncertain identity matches and records uploaded late can leave teachers resolving attendance differences during lessons.

Your commissioned BCO response

Apply the agreed rules for repeated scans and identity matching. Send uncertain events for review, update attendance from accepted events and retain the decision history.

The value: a correction path teachers and administrators can follow.See the attendance evidence flow
03

The problem

A late bus creates worried calls before the team has an answer.

A map alone cannot explain the delay, name the person checking it or tell families when the next update will come.

Your commissioned BCO response

Bring the selected route updates into an agreed response: name the responsible person, record the reason, identify who takes over if needed and approve the message to families.

The value: a shared response instead of disconnected calls.Explore transport safety operations
04

The problem

The classroom gets smarter. The teacher's workload does not.

A board, device and learning app can still leave a teacher repeating the same roster, attendance and assignment context.

Your commissioned BCO response

Start from the assigned class and learner context, then connect the selected tools to attendance, learning and communication actions.

The value: technology organised around the teaching day.Explore connected classroom operations
05

The problem

A useful signal becomes unnecessary exposure.

Identity and location data should reach the people who need it—not everyone who can open a dashboard.

Your commissioned BCO response

Agree the minimum data needed, who may access it and how long it is kept for each use. Keep provider passwords and access keys outside everyday user screens.

The value: a clear purpose and access limits for sensitive data.
06

The problem

The demo works. The support handoff is missing.

A working device is not an operating service until someone owns network failures, uncertain records and staff support.

Your commissioned BCO response

Agree the checks that must pass before launch, practise what staff do when something fails, train the responsible team and name the hardware, provider and BCO support contacts.

The value: an operating plan that continues after installation.

The human loop stays central

A signal is useful only when it helps someone act.

The connected classroom story is not more screens. It connects a classroom event to the teacher, administrator or support team authorised to respond, with clear rules and responsibility.

  1. 01
    Observe

Receive an agreed device event, route update or staff action.

  2. 02
    Interpret

Check what happened against your campus rules, agreed limits and staff permissions.

  3. 03
    Respond

Name who will act, why and by when.

  4. 04
    Record

Keep the action and result before changing the automatic rules.

Commissioned for your campus

Your operating model. Your agreed launch.

Choose the workflows that matter, then commission the device and provider integrations around them. Your order defines the scope, schedule and acceptance criteria; the agreed solution is configured, tested and accepted before go-live.

Define the outcome

A clear operating plan

  • A list of devices, their campus locations and responsible teams.
  • Selected attendance, transport or classroom workflows.
  • Rules for unexpected events, who may review them and the records to keep.
  • What data is needed, who may access it and how long it is kept.
  • The checks needed for acceptance and the handover to staff.
Engineer the connection

A clear delivery agreement

  • Named devices and providers, with agreed ways to connect them.
  • Hardware supply, installation, warranty and network roles.
  • Agreed integrations, response rules and communication channels.
  • Delivery milestones, testing and acceptance before launch.
  • Who provides support, charges for use and how later changes are approved.

Connected Campus is a commissioned integration service, separate from the base ERP subscription. The approved proposal and order define the included hardware, provider services, integrations and delivery dates.

Buyer questions

Plan the investment with confidence.

Does BCO include IoT hardware?

Your proposal itemises hardware, connectivity, installation, warranty and provider usage. These are separate unless expressly included in your approved order.

Can we connect devices we already own?

Yes, where the selected models support the agreed integration. We assess the device model, the supplier’s connection method, the data it provides and support responsibilities before including the integration in your order.

When will our commissioned integrations go live?

Connected Campus is a commissioned integration service, separate from the base ERP subscription. Your order sets device and provider scope, delivery dates, responsibilities and acceptance criteria. The agreed integrations are configured, tested and accepted before the agreed launch.

How is student and location data handled during setup?

Demonstrations and initial tests use fictional or institution-approved test data. Your implementation plan defines the minimum data, consent, permitted access and storage period needed for the selected use.

Make your next campus investment work as one.

Bring an attendance dispute, a transport disruption or a classroom handoff. Leave the conversation with a clear operating need, what the connection should include and the next decision.
